What do I get when I buy a book?
A digital download from Gumroad. Colouring books include matching A4 and US Letter PDFs, and most also include an optional colour guide, a .colourbook companion for our free online studio, and a start-here file with the licence. Story books add the read-aloud text. Each product page lists the exact contents. Nothing physical is posted to you.
How do I download my book after buying?
After checkout, Gumroad shows your download and emails a receipt with the link. You can also find it in your Gumroad library by signing in with the email you bought with. If the email hasn’t arrived, check your spam folder, then contact us.
Should I print the A4 or the US Letter PDF?
Choose the one that matches your paper. A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard in Australia, the UK and most of the world; US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) is standard in the USA and Canada. Print at Actual Size or 100%. Our printing guide has more tips.
Can I use the books in my classroom?
Yes. One purchase covers one educator’s own non-commercial classroom or small teaching group, and you can print copies for those children. Each teacher who uses the book needs their own copy. See the licence summary.
Can I share the files with other families or upload them online?
Please don’t. The licence doesn’t allow reselling, sharing, giving away or publicly uploading the files, the artwork or the studio companion files. You’re very welcome to share a link to our website instead.
Is the online colouring studio free?
Yes. The Puddleleaf studio includes six garden pictures that anyone can colour, with no account or purchase. Colouring books you buy include a .colourbook file that loads that book into the studio at no extra cost.
Where are my studio drawings saved?
Only in your browser, on the device you’re using. They aren’t uploaded to us. Clearing your browser’s site data, or using a different browser or device, means you won’t see them, so keep your original download files.
Do I need to give my email address for the free samples?
No. The free sample buttons download the file directly, with no email address, account or checkout.
What currency are the prices in?
US dollars (for example, US$4.99 for most colouring books), because our Gumroad shop is priced in USD. Gumroad shows the final amount and any tax at checkout, and your bank may convert it to your own currency.
What ages are the books for?
Most books are suggested for about ages 4 to 8, enjoyed with a grown-up. Some list a different range, such as 4–6 or 8–11, on their product page. Every child is different, so use the previews and free samples to judge how much detail suits yours.
Do you sell printed books?
No. Everything we sell is a digital download that you print yourself. Paper, printer ink and colouring supplies aren’t included.
Can I get a refund?
If a file is faulty, missing pages or not as described, we’ll fix it, replace it or refund you, in line with the Australian Consumer Law. Because downloads can’t be returned, we don’t offer refunds just for a change of mind. See Refunds for details.
